The Craftsmanship
At Deluci London, we use traditional hand-welted construction — a time-honored method where skilled craftsmen stitch the sole to the upper and insole by hand, without relying on glued parts.
This technique takes more time and skill, but it results in a shoe that’s stronger, more flexible, and built to last. It’s a mark of true craftsmanship and attention to detail — giving your shoes both durability and comfort over time.

HAND-WELTED
Compared to the Goodyear welted construction, which attaches the welt using a glass-on rib, our skilled craftsmen use needles and thread to stitch the welt to the upper and insole. This method makes the sole more flexible and durable, requiring exceptional manual dexterity and experience.
